Leave Your Car at Home and Ride with GCAT to the Country Rumble!

Looking for a fun and eco-friendly way to get to this year’s Country Rumble? Ride out with us! Laura and Claire from the Guelph Coalition of Active Transport (GCAT) will lead group rides from two starting points up to the Country Rumble at the Arboretum. This year’s event promises a day of fun, music, workshops, and, of course, fantastic walks, runs and rides, all to raise money for Up and Running, Guelph. Our group rides will get you to the Rumble in time to participate in the workshops and enjoy the live music.
All folks who sign up and ride with GCAT get a $5 discount on their country Rumble tickets. Use the Code: takingstepswithGCAT when purchasing tickets in advance HERE or at the gate.

Date: Sept. 17
Departure points and times:
Riverside Park (Pedestrian Bridge) -7.5km; meet at 10:00am
Margaret Greene Park (Playground) – 8.5km; meet at 10:00am
Riding up to the event with us is free, but we need to know you’re joining us, so please sign up HERE. We welcome riders who want to be part of a fun ride and who share an interest in building safer streets for all!
Please Note: If you are planning to participate in one of the Run, Walk, Ride for Mental Health events, they all start before riding with us would get you to the Arboretum. Please check their website (https://upandrunningguelph.ca/country-rumble) for the specific start times for the walk, run or ride events and to register with Up and Running.
Please Bring:
1. Your bike!
2. Helmets are required for children under 18 and are highly recommended for everyone.
3. A lock for your bike.
