What’s it all about?
The Transportation Advisory Committee aims to provide strategic advice and fresh ideas to City Council and staff.
The goal: create a safer, more equitable, and more sustainable transportation network in Guelph.

Who can apply?
- Applicants must be 16 years or older and either a resident or property owner in the City of Guelph.
- The city is seeking individuals with diverse experiences: wheelchair users, students, people who walk or bike often, people who rely on transit, drivers, and professional backgrounds in planning or engineering.
- Representation from community organizations (e.g., University of Guelph, Conestoga College, Guelph and Wellington Task Force for Poverty Elimination) is also welcomed.
Commitment Details
- Meetings: Monthly (third Thursday) at 5:30 p.m., hybrid format (in-person and virtual).
- Term: One-year term for first-time appointees (up to four years for reappointments).

- Term Start: Soon after appointments are confirmed
