A Snap Federal Election Is Coming Up Fast!

Key Information and Dates:
Election Day: April 28, 2025
- Now: If you plan to vote by mail, please register as soon as possible.
- Now–April 22: Vote early at any Elections Canada office

- Starting April 11: If you didn’t get your voter information card or the information on it is incorrect, use the Online Voter Registration Service to check your registration, register or update your address, or call 1-800-463-6868 for assistance
- April 18–21: Advance polls open (9 a.m.–9 p.m.) Check your voter information card or use the Voter Information Service to find your polling station.
- April 22: Deadline to apply to vote by mail (6pm) or at a special ballot location. Your completed mailed ballot must arrive at Elections Canada by election day, or it cannot be counted. Check the instructions in your voting kit for details on deadlines.
- April 28: Election Day – bring ID; register at the poll if needed. You do not need your voter information card to vote – it just makes it faster!
All Candidates Meeting
On Tuesday, April 15, the candidates running to represent Guelph in the federal election will speak at a public All Candidates Meeting, hosted by the Guelph Wellington Coalition for Social Justice.
Please note: This meeting is for the Guelph riding, not the new Wellington–Halton Hills North riding.
